“Overseas Volunteering Activities” and “Human Rights”

Description:

We now experience higher interest of students in overseas volunteering activities. It said, however, that some people take part in the volunteering without proper understanding of local societies nor human rights sensibility. What should we do to foster human rights and cultural diversity in the overseas volunteering activities? In this forum, we invited students who had participated in these activities as volunteers and expert from an NGO, to make future volunteer activities more beneficial to both volunteers and local people.
