The SNU Human Rights Study to Geneva provides students passionate about human rights with a unique annual opportunity to attend meetings of UN human rights bodies in Geneva, Switzerland. Participants also engage in meaningful discussions with human rights officers from the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and members of UN human rights treaty bodies. Through this program, students deepen their understanding of global human rights protection efforts by exploring how human rights norms and policies are developed, implemented, and monitored in practice.
